Health Insurance

for Foreigners

Commercial health insurance for foreigners is a requirement for obtaining a visa or residence permit in the Czech Republic. We offer two types of insurance for foreigners: Insurance for necessary and urgent healthcare and Comprehensive health insurance with a maximum limit of insurance cover 400,000 EUR.
Optional Additional Insurance are available: Accident insurance (up to CZK 200,000) and liability insurance, which protects you in case of damage to the health or property of a third party (max. limit CZK 1,000,000).
Insurance can be arranged for children (0–18 years), adults (19–59 years), seniors (60–69 years), or students (15–26 years).

Assistance Service

The insurance includes assistance services provided by Eurocross Assistance, which are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in English, Czech, Russian, Ukrainian and all other world languages.

• Insurance covers: necessary examinations required for diagnosis and treatment, necessary treatment and hospitalization, urgent dental treatment, outpatient prescribed medication, repatriation to the home country, preventive check-ups, vaccinations, dispensary care
• Maximum limit of insurance cover: EUR 400,000
• Insurance also covers emergency treatment in the Schengen area with a maximum limit of EUR 60,000 per claim

The insurance contract on Comprehensive Health Insurance for Foreigners serves as a document for a stay of longer than 90 days pursuant to Section 180j of Act No. 326/1999 Coll. on the residency of foreigners in the territory of the Czech Republic, as amended.
